Synopsis: The Interpersonal Skill Teaching Centre provides live actor simulation to classes across numerous schools and faculties at Ryerson University. In collaboration with the School of Social Work, we have developed an interprofessional simulation reflecting the needs of Aboriginal families living in the city and their interactions with professionals.

We are looking for people who can portray an Aboriginal family living in Toronto.

You must be 18* years or older and available to work during the week days.

The ages listed reflect the ‘stage appearance’ as opposed to the actual age of the simulator/actor.

For the purpose of the simulation, the family’s traditional home will be Wikwemikong First Nation on Manitoulin Island.

Ideally, we would like to cast more than one simulator in any of these roles as simulations have been requested multiple times and sometimes on the same day for different classes. If interested, you could be cast in other simulations as well.

We will train you in the roles as well as behaviour-based feedback.

Please contact Katherine Turner at 416 979-5000 x 4806 katherine.turner@ryerson.ca and we will arrange an interview time on Wednesday, March 4 or Thursday, March 5, 2015. Full

Training will be the following week-Tuesday, March 10 and/or Wednesday, March 11, 2015

Times- TBD.
